We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Cell Lysis", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Laboratorytalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Purifying DNA with a single centrifugation step from Nexttec Biotechnologie, which we summarised at the time by saying "Pure DNA in just four minutes, and up to 3000 sample preparations per day without expensive robotic automation, with what is said to be the world's fastest nucleic acid purification kits". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Fluorimetric apoptosis assay products are expanded from AnaSpec: "The SensoLyte homogeneous AFC Caspase-8 assay kit from Anaspec uses Ac-IETD-AFC as the fluorogenic indicator to measure caspase-8 activity".

In April 2007, we covered the news from Integra Biosciences concerning its Mediajet, Dose It P910 - take a look at Blood agar production makes haemolysis easier which says: "Department of Medical Microbiology in Lucerne, Switzerland has established an effective technique for production of high quality blood agar using a Mediajet Petri dish filler and Dose It P910 pump".

Take a look also at the news release from Qiagen, FastLane Kits - from sample direct to result, as well as Analytica 2006 accelerates laboratory processes from Munich Trade Fairs, and Single cell whole genome amplification from Sigma-Aldrich.
