We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Discovery Research", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Laboratorytalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Reagents will help improve proteomics research from Applied Biosystems, which we summarised at the time by saying "Applied Biosystems announces an expansion of its line of labelling chemistry reagents used for proteomics research in academic and biopharmaceutical laboratories". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Oxford Biomedica buys RNA interference technology from Oxford BioMedica: "The rights granted are exclusive for RNAi gene silencing using lentiviral vector technology for human gene therapy applications, including Oxford BioMedica's proprietary LentiVector system".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Nanostream - take a look at Nanostream to be service provider at Assay Depot which says: "Assay Depot, an internet marketplace for drug discovery services, reports that Nanostream will join the company's service provider network".

Take a look also at the news release from Agilent Technologies Europe, Collaboration to improve drug-discovery efficiency, as well as Proximity ligation for protein quantitation in PCR from Applied Biosystems, and Haptogen bought by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals from Haptogen.
