Start with the news release Orphamed licenses Activitybase and E-Workbook from IDBS, which we summarised at the time by saying "Focusing initially on research for new drug indications for haematological cancers, Orphamed sought a comprehensive data management system that could easily store all of its research data". A few weeks before, we featured the news release E-WorkBook Suite now updated to v7.1 from IDBS: "Comprised of E-WorkBook, BioBook and ChemBook, E-WorkBook Suite allows greater productivity for research scientists by automating data capture and storage".
 
In September 2007, we covered the news from Aitken Scientific concerning its Report Combiner - take a look at Automated reporting streamlines lab workflow which says: "Aitken Scientific says its new Report Combiner software is delivering significant improvements in productivity for the chemical sample analysis and reporting service of a major pharma laboratory".
