A Laboratorytalk guide

Start with the news release VTT research group makes cancer discovery from VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, which we summarised at the time by saying "Researchers from VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and the University of Turku have discovered a mechanism that lung cancer cells use when spreading into the body to form metastases.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Febit launches mouse genome on a chip from Febit: "Febit has announced the launch of a biochip covering the whole mouse genome for DNA/RNA detection and enrichment.".

In July 2009, we covered the news from Invitrogen - take a look at Invitrogen launches Prodigy analysis system which says: "Invitrogen has announced the availability of Prodigy - an automated, research-use microarray system designed to simplify immunogenetic testing, including human leukocyte antigen (HLA) research.".

Take a look also at the news release from Malvern Instruments, Institut Pasteur uses Viscotek GPC/SEC systems , as well as Wyatt to host 20th Light Scattering Colloquium from Wyatt Technology, and Freedom workstation automates DNA purification from Tecan Group.
