We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Scientific Instruments", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Laboratorytalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Peak wins RBS award for international trade from Peak Scientific Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "Peak Scientific has demonstrated great skill in overcoming the barriers to selling overseas and real initiative in opening up new markets". A few weeks before, we featured the news release UV-vis spectrophotometer features USB operation from Shimadzu Scientific Instruments: "Maintaining what is said to be the highest level of wavelength resolution in its class (1nm), the UV-1800 functions as a standalone instrument or can be PC-controlled with USB memory".

In October 2007, we covered the news from Thermo Fisher Scientific (Molecular Spectroscopy) - take a look at Thermo buys NanoDrop Technologies which says: "The acquisition will strengthen Thermo Fisher's portfolio of UV-Vis spectrophotometry instruments for applications involving small sample volumes".

Take a look also at the news release from Biochrom, Easier system qualification for UV/vis, as well as Instrumental and sampling requirements for RoHS from Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, and In vivo-like cell cultivation on soft surfaces from Ibidi.
