‘Spectrophotometer’

A Laboratorytalk guide

Start with the news release Institut Pasteur uses Viscotek GPC/SEC systems from Malvern Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "Size-exclusion chromatography followed by triple detection array (SEC-TDA) can distinguish between oligomerisation, hydration and shape changes of proteins.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Microplate reader has UV/Vis spectrophotometer from Biochrom: "Biochrom has announced the compact Anthos Zenyth 200 high-performance scanning microplate reader, with built-in UV/Vis spectrophotometer.".

In May 2009, we covered the news from Pro-Lite Technology - take a look at Pro-Lite's Robert Yeo wins Labsphere award which says: "Labsphere has presented its 2009 Innovation Award to Pro-Lite's Robert Yeo in recognition of his contribution to the development of the UV-2000S sunscreen analyser. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Bibby Scientific, Bibby Scientific releases Jenway catalogue, as well as AA-7000 enhances flame and furnace analysis from Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, and SD card uploads spectrophotometer data to PCs from Biochrom.
