We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Strain Gauges", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Laboratorytalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Improved compression testing of composites from Zwick Roell, which we summarised at the time by saying "Hydraulically operated specimen grip has been developed which offers several technical and economic advantages compared to existing and complicated mechanical jigs such as Celanese or IITRI devices". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Transmitter is slim fit for borehole monitoring from SensorsOne: "For level measurement of fresh-water boreholes with a diameter of less than 1inch in diameter it becomes more difficult to install a hydrostatic level transducer, typically 1-1.5 inches in diameter".

In January 2007, we covered the news from SensorsOne concerning its TPSA and TPS hydraulic pressure sensors - take a look at Transducer with diaphragm suits high pressure test which says: "Hydraulic pressure test stands can be extremely unforgiving to some pressure transducers, especially in high dynamic systems which are testing hydraulic actuators or valves".

Take a look also at the news release from Sensor Technology, Mini-mixer will be the torque of many industries, as well as Pressure sensing building block for OEM design from SensorsOne, and Milli-volt transducers measure dynamic pressure from SensorsOne.
