‘Viscometer’

A Laboratorytalk guide

Start with the news release Institut Pasteur uses Viscotek GPC/SEC systems from Malvern Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "Size-exclusion chromatography followed by triple detection array (SEC-TDA) can distinguish between oligomerisation, hydration and shape changes of proteins.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Brookfield unveils DV-II+Pro Extra viscometer from Brookfield Engineering Laboratories: "The DV-II+Pro Extra - an extension of the company's DVII+Pro viscometer - is an instrument designed to deliver time savings in the laboratory.".

In March 2009, we covered the news from Brookfield Engineering Laboratories - take a look at Brookfield runs viscometer and rheometer courses which says: "Brookfield is offering two day-long courses that will allow its customers to get the most from their viscosity testers.".

Take a look also at the news release from Cambridge Viscosity, Viscolab 5000 viscometer measures 75ul samples, as well as ASTM develops oscillating piston viscometer test from Cambridge Viscosity, and Falling ball measures transparent viscous fluids from Brookfield Engineering Laboratories.
