Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced that the Thermo Scientific ABgene 384-well PCR plate for ABI 3730 as its plate of the month for June 2009.

The ABgene 384-well PCR plate has been designed for high-throughput PCR and sequencing applications, making it fully compatible with all major platforms.

The full skirt makes this plate ideal for use with robotics and liquid handling systems.

Each well has a thin-walled design for optimal and consistent heat transfer and a raised rim for superior sealing with adhesive or heat seals while alphanumeric grid referencing makes well identification easy for any throughput.

The ABgene 384-well PCR plate is also available with optional barcoding and in opaque white for QPCR applications.

Thermo Fisher Scientific has 10 cases (25 plates in each) of these 384-well PCR plates to give away in June.
