Satellite events at Achema 2006

Details have been published of two key supporting events at the Achema 2006 show in Frankfurt; one is an industrial biotechnology exhibition and partnering conference

Recognising the importance of outsourcing of specialist activities, the special 'Service Providers for the Process Industries' show within Achema 2006 will create a meeting point for service providers and those requiring assistance in such diverse subjects as contract research and production, plant security and safety, consulting, financing and supply chain management Of particular importance will be the first comprehensive presentation to date of chemical industry parks, with a number of European and Asian locations introducing themselves to international investors

The 'Industrial Biotechnology Exhibition and Partnering Conference' will present products, processes, services and cooperation opportunities on a wide variety of relevant topics, including new applications in chemicals, cosmetics, food and textile industries, scale-up and downstream processing, new production organisms and biocatalyst systems.

In addition, the globalisation of industrial biotechnology will be featured, with separate presentations covering the status of developments in the USA, Europe, especially in the former Eastern bloc countries, China, Japan and India.

Opportunities exist to exhibit alongside these events at special rates.

Achema 2006, the World Forum for the Process Industry, will be held at the Frankfurt Exhibition Grounds from 15-19 May 2006.

More than 3000 companies have already booked exhibition space in 12 technology theme areas.
