Achema reveals chemistry confidence

11 June 2009 - Achema has revealed worldwide confidence for the future of chemistry and chemical engineering, with stable visitor and exhibitor figures.

More than 173,000 visitors from all over the world had passed through the exhibition halls in Frankfurt during the 29th Achema.

The latest products and technologies from 3,767 companies and research institutes in the chemical engineering, biotechnology, food technology, environmental protection and related sectors were on display, leading over 85 per cent of visitors to evaluate the quality of Achema positively.

The Achema Congress, comprising 900 lectures, as well as panel discussions and plenary sessions, attracted scientists and developers keen to hear about and discuss the latest market-ready research results.
