Adept Scientific announces dates in 2002 for its technical software training courses for engineering and science professionals New dates have just been announced for the popular training courses, designed to provide practical, hands-on experience for users of technical software supplied and supported in the UK by Adept Scientific They aim to bring users up to speed quickly, show how to get the most out of the software and maximise the productivity benefits gained from the software

Adept Scientific runs the courses in its purpose-built, fully equipped, air-conditioned training/seminar facility in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

EndNote training courses, designed to help attendees get the most out of this powerful reference management software, are suitable for both beginners and users of the package.

The one-day course enables attendees to use EndNote to locate references, catalogue them in a custom reference database and format a word-processed script in the style required by the journal to which the article is being submitted.

Dates for 2002 are 22 January, 19 February, 19 March, 21 May, 25 June, 23 July, 24 September, 22 October and 19 November.

Adept's Reference Manager training courses are designed to help attendees get more from this package, which is used to search out literature references on the internet, manage reference databases and produce formatted bibliographies.

This training course is a hands-on course designed to help attendees simplify the laborious task of finding, downloading and formatting internet references.

Dates for 2002 are 23 January, 20 February, 20 March, 22 May, 26 June, 24 July, 25 September, 23 October and 20 November.

'Getting the most out of Mathcad' is a two-day training course, structured so that attendees can attend for both days, or just the day that suits them best.

This course demonstrated how to make the best use of Mathcad's unique document interface to solve equations, define functions, use units and dimensions and create plots.

Dates for 2002 are 16/17 January, 13/14 February, 13/14 March, 15/16 May, 19/20 June, 17/18 July, 18/19 September, 16/17 October and 13/14 November.

Those involved in quality control will find 'Applied statistical process control with NWA Quality Analyst' a good introduction to this powerful package.

The course aims to demonstrate the most effective methods of using NWA Quality Analyst for any SPC or SQC application and explain how to implement SPC methods, process characterisation and optimisation.
