Data acquisition in a competitive market
16-channel data acquisition board sets the pace on price/performance with 12-bit resolution (one part in 4096) on any of 15 input ranges
Measurement Computing (MCC) has introduced a highly competitive new design in its PCI-DAS6000 range of data acquisition boards for PCs The sixteen-channel PCI-DAS6070 is an analogue input board combining high speed (1.25MHz) with superb build quality and a remarkable price of ?1150

Supported and sold in the UK by Adept Scientific, the PCI-DAS6070 offers 12-bit resolution (one part in 4096) on any of 15 input ranges with these sample rates up to 1.25 million samples per second.
Dual 12-bit resolution analogue outputs can be updated at rates to 1MHz per channel.
Eight discrete digital bi-directional I/O lines can control relays and solenoids, and monitor switch and contact closures.
As with all the PCI-DAS6000 series, the board comes with a full user's manual, individual calibration certificate, free technical support, a lifetime warranty against defects in material or workmanship, and a lifetime Harsh Environment Warranty against accidental damage.
Design quality, as well as look and feel, is first class.
A choice of software is on offer for professional developers and non-programming users alike.
There's support for LabView, Matlab, Agilent VEE, and the SoftWire graphical programming system for Windows Visual Studio.NET and Visual Basic 6.
MCC's Universal Library software option enables interfacing to control systems written in almost any language or programming environment.
There are several types of trigger signal inputs and powerful programmable trigger logic on the board.
Digital events or analogue threshold crossings may be used to initiate both measurement (input) and control (output) processes.
Synchronisation of several measurement boards comprising a single measurement and control system is handled by precise inter-board synchronization signals and on-board logic.
Software makes this simple to configure and use.
Measurement Computing hardware and software is supplied and supported in the UK by Adept Scientific. Request a free brochure from Adept Scientific ...
