Full-function, self-contained test controller for new and retrofit applications is designed for both manually operated and servo-equipped electromechanical and hydraulic testing machines

Admet has announced the Precise digital controller, a full-function, self-contained test controller for new and retrofit applications Designed for both manually operated and servo-equipped, electromechanical and hydraulic testing machines, the Precise digital controller is an inexpensive, easy-to-use alternative to personal computer-based test controllers

The self-contained unit presents a more closely controlled platform than a general purpose personal computer.

Its test-specific keypad and display make the Precise easy to learn and set up.

This defined environment reduces both data collection and data reporting errors.

The Precise digital controller stores three test procedures and up to 350 test results per procedure to make it easy to build repeatable test suites to compare results.

Closed loop servo capabilities facilitate accurate, repeatable testing.

"The Precise Digital Controller packs the appropriate amount of data collection, control and reporting power at the testing machine while maintaining ease of use and the ability to centralize and analyse results over a network," commented Richard Gedney, Admet's founder and president.

"It is an affordable test control unit that exceeds industry calibration standards for retrofits and for new equipment." The Precise digital controller is available immediately.

It is end-user priced at $3,645 (manual machines) and $4,865 (servo-equipped machines) directly from Admet, as well as from Admet representatives and calibrators.

The Precise digital controller is ideal for retrofits of testing machines from ATS, Baldwin, Instron, MTS, Riehle, Satec, Shimadzu, Tinius Olsen, United, and others.
