Incorporating an indexed tabletop the Apex 396 provides operators with the flexibility to select the optimum locations for the placement of reagent bottles.
The Apex 396 can easily be configured for synthesising one to 96 peptides and may accommodate a variety of scales to meet the changing needs of the laboratory.
To serve the demands of the high throughput laboratory the Apex 396 includes a fast solvent delivery system that reduces peptide synthesis time dramatically.
The construction of the Apex 396 recognises that peptide synthesis often involves the use of corrosive and noxious chemicals.
A stainless steel lined interior minimises the effects of chemical corrosion.
The Apex 396 has its own totally enclosed cabinet that can function as a fume hood when connected to an exhaust source.
The system uses Advanced ChemTech's patented reactors that are constructed of Teflon providing the highest level of chemical resistance and optimum performance with resin protocols.
Any standard Fmoc and Boc coupling strategies can be performed on the instrument producing amounts of peptide from as low as 5mg up to 2g of each with on board TFA cleavage for Fmoc chemistry.
