Its convenient bar-coded, pre-filled amino acid vials and optimised pre-programmed Fast Boc or Fast Fmoc protocols provide easy error free synthesis.
The intuitive point and click software has been designed for both occasional and experienced users.
The ability in the software to specify reagent delivery, coupling time, solvents for coupling and washes, number of couplings and washes and other factors enables peptide chemists to easily and rapidly create custom protocols for new experimental chemistries.
Optimised in situ neutralization and activation protocols allow peptide chemists to prepare high quality peptides with rapid throughput and low cost per coupling.
Each coupling cycle can be as short as 25 minutes or as long as 42 minutes, depending on the type of chemistry.
Utilising these protocols and on-board cleavage, even long peptides can be constructed with total walk away automation.
Smart automation features minimise solvent use and monitor solvent availability.
The compact Apogee accommodates a range of synthesis scales (0.1 - 0.5 mmol) to suit your laboratory needs.
As standard the system comes with a 25 ml reactor, four reagent bottles, two solvent bottles and isolated TFA system, including waste line.
