Information is displayed and maintained in a centralized repository that is accessed to authorized members of an organization via a web browser such as Internet Explorer.
Key new features of this release include convenient display of hyphenated datasets which allow users to scroll through and view individual scans.
Users will now also be able to add images to records, and export raw spectral data to the ACD/Labs desktop processing tools for re-processing and review.
With the augmented support of SpecManager, specific interlinking of various spectral data with individual chromatographic peaks is now possible.
Existing users of the software will find numerous new advancements that augment the usability of the software for chemists, analysts, and IT personnel.
Mark Bayliss, director of analytical informatics for ACD/Labs, adds: "Creation and processing of data can be enabled through our desktop software processing and data management platforms.
"Making this valuable analytical information available to all appropriate personnel locally and globally within your organization is delivered in a cost effective format using your corporate intranet technologies ensuring low deployment overheads for informatic departments through our Web Librarian technology.
