Gene expression analysis video showing printed microarray technique wins a silver medal at the New York Film Festival - and it can be viewed through the web

Agilent Technologies's informational video, 'The gene expression analysis opportunity', was awarded a Silver World Medal at the 44th annual New York Film Festival The film was made for Agilent by EagleVision Productions

"Winning the silver medal at the New York Film Festival is quite an honour for all of us," said Barney Saunders, vice president and general manager of Agilent's BioResearch Solutions.

"We commend EagleVision on their fine work in showcasing our printed microarray solutions in this video." The New York Film Festival recognises the world's best work in educational, informational, and industrial productions, home videos, short films, business theatre, and multi-image.

All entries are screened in a preliminary review process.

Entries are evaluated for production values, presentation of content, inventiveness, and overall effectiveness.

"To those who are finalists or medalists, we salute your achievement," said Gerald Goldberg, president, New York Film Festival.

"We honour not only your accomplishments but your steadfast adherence to a standard of excellence, creativity and integrity." The video can be viewed through Agilent's website, details above (requires registration).
