Agilent Technologies Europe has announced the release of a free CD-Rom designed to help chromatographers save time when developing methods for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) The CD-Rom contains applications that cover agricultural, biochemical, environmental, foods, pharmaceutical and polymers industries

There are also applications for organic chemicals and technical comparisons.
The 178 applications cover such methods as reversed phase, normal phase, size exclusion, chiral, LC/MS and even on-line sample concentration with column switching.
The applications use Agilent's line of Zorbax HPLC columns, which include Zorbax StableBond, Eclipse XDB, Bonus-RP and Extend-C18 columns as well as the original Zorbax columns.
Method developers can choose an application from the CD that meets their needs exactly or select one with similar conditions as a starting point for further method optimization.
