Fittings for extreme fluid transfer
environments

Upchurch Scientific has launched a selection of new fittings designed specifically for demanding high temperature and ultra-high pressure applications

Available in the UK and Ireland from Anachem, these new fittings ensure absolutely no leaks The one-piece, high temperature fingertight fitting and the two-piece, ultra-high pressure fitting are both suitable for 10-32 coned ports and offer unique abilities that surpass traditional high pressure products

The new one-piece, fingertight fitting for 1/16inch OD tubing is the first to have an extensive temperature range with pressures that vary between 6000psi (414bar) at 200C and 12,000psi (827bar) at ambient temperatures.

Made from Polyketone (PK), a versatile new material that is suited for extreme temperature applications with resilient chemical compatibility properties identical to Peek.

It is ideal for replacing stainless steel fittings, especially considering that no tools are required and the sealing that is achieved proves just as good.

The limits of standard fittings are being pushed by the introduction of new HPLC column technology such as the use of 1-2um diameter particle packing materials.

Upchurch has developed new two-piece, ultra-high pressure fittings to address this.

These stainless steel nuts and ferrules have an extremely high pressure rating of up to 18,000psi (1241bar) with ferrule options for both 1/16inch and 1/32inch OD tubing.

A two-piece fitting allows for the replacement of the ferrule only, as required, providing an economical solution. Request a free brochure from Anachem ...
