The tip ejector also has an adjustable stroke (patented) for maximum compatibility and improved comfort when ejecting tips.
With its exclusive patented multi-functional electronic display, including decimal point and volumetric units, Pipetman Ultra Multichannel provides greater readability and improved accuracy.
The risk of parallax errors, often a problem with analogue displays, is eliminated, ensuring 100% precision in volume selection.
This is further enhanced by the lockable volume thumbwheel that prevents the risk of volume change during pipetting - essential for GLP.
The LCD display also brings further GLP security and traceability functions with out of specification warnings and cycle counters - from the last time the volume was set, to check the number of cycles in the current run plus a record of the number of cycles since the pipette was first used, to monitor servicing requirements.
