TreffLab deep well plates, available from Anachem, combine the volume advantages of tubes with the convenience of a microplate format for improved efficiency They are described as an ideal medium for sample storage, tissue typing applications, serial dilutions and high yield growth of bacteria, yeast and cell lines

The plates are manufactured from high-quality virgin polypropylene and are resistant to a wide variety of chemicals including phenols, chloroform and DMSO.

The 96-well plates are compatible with pipetting workstations and multichannel pipettes.

They are available in a range of well volumes to suit various applications including 1.2ml in both sterile and non-sterile versions, plus 2.2ml and the new 0.5ml volume options.

The wells are labelled in a standard alpha-numeric pattern to simplify sample identification, and have raised rims to provide a reliable sealing edge.
