The control of glucose meters has reached a new standard of safety with the introduction of Sugar-Chex II, says Alpha Laboratories: all the attributes of a whole blood control without the blood and related safety issues These new aqueous controls are formulated to replicate the viscosity and flow properties of whole blood and offer extended closed vial stability of 24 months, 90-day open vial stability, and room temperature storage Sugar-Chex II exhibits the same values as traditional Sugar-Chex so that current users can use the range without changing protocols
Pricing also remains the same.
The controls are available individually in three levels (low, mid and elevated) in packs of six 2ml vials.
A tri-level pack is also available containing four vials of each level.
