Universal panel meter
Functions, including input type, calibration, scaling and relay setpoint setup, are all carried out by software functions accessed by the front panel keypads
The PM4-TCR is a universal panel meter able to accept a wide range of input types without hardware additions The PM4-TCR accepts 0-20mA or 4-20mA DC, DCmV in ranges from +/-20mV to +/-200mV, Pt100 or Pt1000 RTD temperature sensor, thermocouple (type B, E, J, K, N, R, S or T selectable)

The functions, including input type, calibration, scaling and relay setpoint setup, are all carried out by software functions accessed by the front panel keypads.
No Dip switches, no additional cards and only one jumper to be set inside the instrument allows for full set up.
The PM4-TCR is available with a wide range of display options including a genuine four digit LED display with 20mm high digits, displays with 5, 6 or 8 digits and displays that combine a 20 segment bar graph with either 4 or 5 digit numerical readout.
The bar graph and digital display can be independently scaled.
The instrument can be powered from 240VAC, 110VAC, 32VAC, 24VAC, 12-48VDC or 50-110VDC.
The supply voltage is factory configured.
One fully configurable setpoint relay is standard and a wide range of output options are available as daughter boards.
No additional software is required as the base instrument recognises the presence of the output option and makes the appropriate functions available for setup.
Output options include analogue retransmission - either single or dual channel as 4-20mA, 0-1VDC or 0-10VDC.
PI control is available on the single channel as well as the first channel of the dual option.
Additional setpoint relays - up to an additional six setpoint relays can be added (making a total of seven).
Serial communications - RS232 or RS485 using either ASCII or Modbus protocols.
Digital output - binary or BCD (NPN or PNP signal types).
These output options can be easily installed by the user although it is preferable to have them installed by the manufacturer at time of purchase.
The PM4-TCR is a very flexible robust instrument (the case is extruded aluminium) that offers ease of set up and use.
