In vitro transcription system promises to produce siRNA that is both more potent than the chemically-synthesised alternative, and at a fraction of the cost

The new Silencer siRNA construction kit, an in vitro transcription system for siRNA synthesis and purification, synthesises siRNA that is more potent than chemically synthesised siRNA at 1/15th the cost Similar siRNA effects are seen using less than one-tenth the in vitro transcribed siRNA than chemically synthesised siRNA (RNA oligonucleotides)

Using the Silencer siRNA Construction Kit, says Ambion, more genes or more potential targets within your gene can be screened for a fraction of the cost of chemically synthesised siRNA.
