White blood cell isolation kit provides a fast and easy method to yield high-quality RNA while simultaneously removing genomic DNA

Isolation of high quality RNA from blood is a prerequisite for many clinical and basic research applications Unfortunately, isolating intact RNA from blood is challenging because only white blood cells (which compose 0.1% of all blood cells) contain appreciable amounts of RNA

To aid in this procedure, Ambion has developed the RiboPure-WBC RNA isolation kit.

This kit provides a fast and easy method that yields up to 20µg of high-quality RNA while simultaneously removing genomic DNA.

The RiboPure-WBC RNA isolation kit is optimised for 40 whole blood samples of up to 10ml each and the resulting RNA can be used for demanding downstream applications such as real-time RT-PCR.
