Connect unlimited serial ports to a network
Amplicon Liveline has recently introduced the new Rocketport Serial Hub Si, a LAN based device which allows an unlimited number of serial ports to be added to a network.
The add-on runs on all 32 bit Windows O/S, 95, 98, NT and 2000.
COM-Watch 2000 is low cost and easy to use on desk top or lap top PC's.
It may monitor data passively or collect actively.
This means that when in passive mode it is listening to two other devices communicate, or in active mode it is actually part of the communications system.
The software also works with several COM-Watch files simultaneously, and is able to handle files in excess of 10MB.
The windows analyser is compatible with Amplicon serial communications interfaces and PC boards.
The system is primarily used for fault finding and debugging of any RS232, 422 or 485 serial communications network; ATM networks, EPOS, SCADA and distributed control systems, with main customers being in areas such as telecommunications, system integration, process measurement and control, instrumentation manufacture and electrical control equipment.
