On-line monitoring and control of
ozonation
Analytical Technology (ATi) announces the launch of its innovative new Q45H/64 dissolved ozone analyser for reliable on-line monitoring and control of ozonation systems
The all-new Q45H/64 is a totally flexible monitor ideally suited to a wide range of applications, from the standard 0-2ppm display range required by water bottling systems or municipal water treatment to the high range ones of 0-20 or 0-200ppm This novel instrument is also capable of measuring DO3 concentrations as low as 0-200ppb full scale with unparalleled sensitivity, thus being suitable for even the most demanding applications such as pharmaceutical grade water or semiconductor wash water

Compliant measurement of pure water in pharma
Analytical Technology (ATi) announces that its Q45H/64 dissolved ozone monitor enables continuous on-line monitoring and control of ozone systems in the pharmaceutical industry
Traditionally, ozone has been monitored and controlled using redox analysers, spectrophotometers, amperometric monitors and colorimeters, all of which demonstrate shortcomings.
Redox analysers are not sensitive enough to accommodate just any application and non linear.
Spectrophotometers are expensive and complicated to use.

Analytical Technology (ATi) has introduced the new Q45D dissolved oxygen monitor for reliable oxygen monitoring in water
Amperometric monitors are not ozone specific, they produce a very small signal in low conductivity water and they are not efficient post UV and in the case of ultra pure water.
Polarisation of electrodes also occurs when at zero for a long time.
Colorimeters are associated with high consumables costs, they do not offer continuous sample analysis and they require the disposal of contaminated samples.
Utilizing a highly selective polarographic membraned sensor, the new Q45H/64 monitors from ATi dissolv ozone interference-free while requiring only very little maintenance since they have no moving parts.
The analyser is available in three portable versions offering exceptional versatility to meet a variety of monitoring applications.
In its simplest form, the unit is a loop-powered transmitter operating from standard 24VDC power supplies for ozone measurements only.
Integration with many DCS, PLC and Scada systems is easily achieved while a PID output function is also included.
AC powered systems are also available featuring PID control, relay and dual output functions.
The units are available with an optional pH sensor input offering dual measurement capability for both dissolved ozone and pH analogue outputs.
Finally, battery operated units with internal data logger are available for short term monitoring at remote sites or process studies.
Powered by a standard 9V battery, these units run for ten days on a single battery and the data-logger easily stores up to 32,000 data points.
The dual 0-2.5VDC outputs are assignable to ozone concentration and temperature. Request a free brochure from Analytical Technology ...
