New instrument connectivity software has runtime automation feature controlling automatic data collection and reporting with a simple mouse click

Applied Biosystems has recently introduced two new software programs, IDM-LimsLink v3.1 and IDM-LimsLinkCDS v3.1, in collaboration with Labtronics, a company well known for its expertise in developing interfacing software for laboratory systems The IDM-LimsLink v3.1 software provides complete integration between Applied Biosystems's SQL Lims software and laboratory instruments

A powerful new runtime automation feature controls automatic data collection and reporting with a simple mouse click.

Many security aspects to address 21 CFR part 11 compliance have been enhanced such as a new e-signature option can be configured to request confirmation of a user's identity before selected operations can be carried out, with all relevant details automatically logged in the audit trail.

The IDM-LimsLinkCDS v3.1 software offers full, secure integration between SQL Lims software and all major chromatography data systems (CDS) on the market.

It can directly query the SQL Lims software and create a work list to merge with additional information for seamless data transfer to the CDS.

Both IDM-LimsLink v3.1 and IDM-LimsLinkCDS v3.1 provide the level of security and accountability required to support FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, including application-to-application communications, electronic signatures, triple digit levels of password protection and full audit trail implementation.
