New kits are designed to increase productivity and improve data quality for DNA sequencing applications and, until 31 December, you can purchase a kit at a 50% discount

Applied Biosystems is announcing the launch of two new versions of its BigDye terminator cycle sequencing kit The new kits are designed to increase productivity and improve data quality for DNA sequencing applications and, until 31 December 2002, you can purchase one kit for 100 reactions at a 50% discount from the list price

The BigDye terminator V3.1 cycle sequencing kit is suitable for the majority of applications, including de novo sequencing and resequencing (users of the ABI Prism 310 genetic analyser should contact their local field applications specialist before upgrading to V3.1).

The BigDye terminator V1.1 cycle sequencing kit is designed for speciality applications, such as sequencing PCR products associated with comparative sequencing when using a rapid instrument run.

The new versions will improve performance when sequencing difficult templates, resulting in longer read lengths, higher success rates and the completion of projects in less time and at a lower overall cost.

Previous BigDye terminator cycle sequencing kits will continue to be available for some time to enable a smooth transition to the new versions.

Terms and conditions for this special offer: Offer only valid for 1 x 100 reaction BigDye cycle sequencing chemistry kit per instrument.

Offer valid until 31 December 2002.

No other discounts apply.

All prices exclude delivery and local tax.
