Better performance than NDIR?

The new six-page brochure details the technical features and benefits of Aspectrics's EP-IR analyser when used for out-of-the-laboratory applications
"We are pleased that we are now supplying our EP-IR technology to OEMs who will evaluate its use in various analysis and monitoring markets," said Paul Salsgiver, CEO of Aspectrics.
"We believe that an opportunity exists for EP-IR to replace the nondispersive infrared (NDIR), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and gas chromatographic technologies currently used for process monitoring and environmental applications, as a single EP-IR system can replace multiple NDIR modules and provide better performance".
At the heart of Aspectrics's EP-IR analyser is a rotating disc onto which up to 256 concentric encoding tracks are formed.
The EP-IR analyser continuously acquires data on every optical channel in parallel to provide the most accurate intensity measurements.
The encoding tracks of the EP-IR analyser replace the detector elements of a conventional detector array and effectively offers NDIR ruggedness with FTIR performance, says the company. Request a free brochure from Aspectrics ...
