Automatic labelling of plates and dishes

Automatic petri dish labelling provides an accurate and reliable alternative to the tedious and time-consuming manual method

When it comes to sample preparation, Don Whitley Scientific says it has got it covered - from start to finish The latest addition to its range, the AES Labelmaster, sees the introduction of automatic petri dish labelling, providing an accurate and reliable alternative to the tedious and time-consuming manual method

The new system, which works equally well with full or empty dishes, optimises the preparation and follow-up of sample analysis and reduces mistakes due to human error.

With a capacity of 500 plates and a production rate of up to 1200 plates an hour, the speedy Labelmaster is said to be ideal for large contract laboratories processing thousands of plates a week.

Software is included for use on a stand-alone basis, but the system is also compatible with the AES APS300 pourer stacker, the AES Labmaster, and Lims.

Users may choose from the following parameters when setting up a label: sample or patient name, medium, bacteria, dilution, sample volume, batch number and bar code - turning a chore into a couple of minutes' work. Request a free brochure from Don Whitley Scientific ...
