Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Nov 26, 2003

The event will provide an important opportunity to reach out to the large and rapidly expanding market for photonics and nano-technology products in Australia

Aquila Instruments, a developer and manufacturer of high-performance spectrophotometers for thin film analysis, will be exhibiting at 'Microelectronics, Mems and Nanotechnology 2003,' being held 10-12 December at the University of Western Australia, Perth.

The event will provide an important opportunity for Aquila to reach out to the large and rapidly expanding market for photonics and nano-technology products in Australia.

Within the next decade, the global nano-technology industry is expected to reach a value of $1 trillion.

David Lovering, managing director of Aquila, comments: "The team at Aquila are thrilled to be representing the UK industry for the first time at the exhibition.

"It will be a great chance for us to raise the profile of our company, both within the Asian Pacific market and the global industry as a whole." Aquila is a member of the Millbrook Scientific Instruments group.
