Unfair Government Competition in BSE Testing?
ACIL believes strongly that private sector food testing laboratories have the capability to be of service to industry and government for bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) testing
It offers insureds a range of special options and coverages including choice of limits, choice of deductibles, streamlined underwriting, fast turnaround on quotes and centralised underwriting and administration.
While the programme features many benefits, perhaps the most attractive feature is its rating structure.
It was created through a special arrangement with AGS Talcott, a specialist in the design and management of insurance programmes for associations and affinity groups.
"In a time like this, when premiums for most insureds are skyrocketing, we anticipate being able to save most applicants an average of 15% to 20% off of general market rates.
This is done through the power of ACIL's group purchasing" said Jerry Rorke, director of AGS Talcott.
The programme is underwritten by Lloyd's of London and will be available to ACIL members beginning today (15 October 2002).
