3D metrology with any microscope

PhaseView of Palaiseau in France has appointed Armstrong Optical as the distributor in the UK and Ireland of its MicroPhase, SurPhase and GetPhase products.

PhaseView has developed algorithms for deconvolving phase data from images collected using CCD cameras allowing three-dimensional imaging information to be generated.

This has enabled PhaseView to launch the MicroPhase and SurPhase systems onto the market that will make possible low cost 3D non-contact measurement.

The MicroPhase system turns any microscope into a 3D metrology device.

MicroPhase - like a video CCD camera - fits onto any microscope with a standard C-mount with no need of additional optics or accessories.

MicroPhase is flexible, adding 3D visualisation and measurement capabilities without alteration of microscope observation modes.

SurPhase is a stand-alone 3D video microscope integrating a high resolution CCD camera, controlled LED illumination and an objective turret with six positions for sample analysis in reflection.

It is described as an ideal tool for 3D surface characterisation, combining 2D video microscopy and 3D measurement capabilities.

Automatic acquisition and processing are performed by the GetPhase software package providing easy operation, fast and accurate results.
