With Your Agreement customers are able to choose exactly what they want, including agreement length, response levels, coverage hours, preventative maintenance, parts covered, software upgrades, computer support and training.
Your Agreement is tailored to the individual requirements of each Amersham Biosciences customer with the help of a user-friendly questionnaire called Agreement Maker which is accessible on-line or via CD-Rom.
Using the Agreement Maker, customers can alter their service agreement and see the impact different options have on their budget before any decisions are made.
Once finalised, Amersham Biosciences fulfils this agreement by providing a high quality of service to the customer via Labcrew, its team of professional engineers who meet the customer's exact service requirements.
"At a time when our customers are facing capital funding restrictions, it is important to have the right service agreement in place to maximise the potential and output of their instruments", says Nicola Raw, marketing director, service at Amersham Biosciences.
"Traditionally, the one-size-fits-all one- to three-year pre-packaged offers were the standard practice in the drug development industry.
Our new service offering, Your Agreement, offers a transparent and flexible resource, that puts the customer in charge." Your Agreement encompasses the entire instrument range from Amersham Biosciences and is aimed at instrument users, laboratory heads, purchasers, site services and facilities management teams across the world.
