The flexible range of tools that ImageQuant TL offers enables simple analyses that can be performed with just a few mouse clicks and more extensive analyses with user definable parameters.
ImageQuant TL can be used either as a standalone package or with Amersham Biosciences's imagers such as the flexible Typhoon scanner where images generated from different sample types are automatically analysed by ImageQuant TL.
With ImageQuant TL, data results from single or multi-channel images is dynamically presented in a measurements table that is easily and automatically updated when adjustments to the analyses are made.
Developed in exclusive association between Amersham Biosciences and Nonlinear Dynamics, ImageQuant TL helps meet the demanding needs of users of variable mode imagers and camera systems and has been designed to handle multicolour images from diverse applications with modern algorithms, with a high degree of automation, while also allowing the user to define specific tools for data analysis.
ImageQuant TL is the newest generation of the ImageQuant software used by most life science researchers throughout the world since 1988.
Targeted at multi-user molecular biologists, neuroscientists and cell biology research laboratory technicians ImageQuant TL is easy to install and use, making tasks such as colony counting less labour intensive for laboratories to perform.
Andy Bertera, vice president genomics product management at Amersham Biosciences commented, "ImageQuant TL is a fast and easy way to turn images from many experiments into qualitative and quantitative results.
"The versatility and the degree of automation of ImageQuant TL to eliminate user-to-user variation will speed up the analysis process and improve reproducibility." ImageQuant TL is available for download from Amersham Biosciences.
