4 September 2009 - Astech Projects will demonstrate its expertise in the pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries at the Process and Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA) show.

On 29 September to 1 October 2009, representatives from Astech will be on hand to discuss the integration of robotic applications for pharmaceutical and consumer goods products, including personal care and over-the-counter medicines.

In addition, the company’s expertise has extended to include packaging robotics.

Visitors will also be invited to enter a prize draw for the chance to win an Ipod Touch.

4 September 2009 - Astech Projects will be exhibiting its bespoke automation services at Medtec Ireland on 23-24 September 2009 at Radisson SAS hotel, Galway.

The Astech team will be available to discuss its range of automation systems for the testing of drug delivery devices, as well as its machine build capabilities.

There will also be a prize draw on the company's stand, providing visitors with the opportunity to win an Ipod Touch.

April 22 2009 - Astech Projects has won the 'Queen's Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2009', for its Xelair automated systems.

The Xelair systems perform automated dose content uniformity testing of batch production and research-and-development respiratory drug-delivery devices.

Relative to manual methods, the Xelair systems increase throughput, improve safety, reduce solvent usage and increase the quality and volume of test data.
