Small-scale synthesis on parallel
reaction station
The DrySyn Multi concept was developed in collaboration with the department of chemistry at Cambridge University, and many units are now in use world wide
The DrySyn Multi family of reaction blocks from Asynt convert any standard hotplate stirrer into a modular, flexible reaction station, saving precious laboratory space and dispensing with dangerous, messy oil baths The standard models can accommodate up to three 500ml round bottom flasks at one time, but when costs and availability of reagents become a major factor, smaller scale reactions may be preferred

New solution for multiple reactions
Reaction block provides a safe alternative to oil baths and mantles, posing a lower fire risk and making clean-up of glassware far easier
DrySyn Reaction Vial Inserts convert the DrySyn Multi into a 12-position parallel reaction station compatible with a variety of industry-standard reaction tubes and vials.
Wheaton V-Vials for example, are ideal for small-scale synthesis.
Available in 2ml, 5ml and 10ml sizes, these vials have a conical interior profile for maximum sample recovery and a septum seal for the addition of reagent or inert gas, or for sampling.
Direct heat transfer gives rapid heating, up to three times faster than a conventional oil bath, and accurate temperature control up to 250C.
Efficient magnetic coupling ensures powerful stirring in all configurations.
