Ecolabeling, the result of recently developed international standard Oeko-Tex Standard 1000, is important to increase sales to consumers across Europe and Asia

AccuStandard is pleased to announce the availability of reference materials to meet the requirements of international standard Oeko-Tex Standard 1000 This regulation was developed to offer manufacturers the ability to develop, measure, monitor and control 'environmentally friendly' production procedures using an auditing process

Textile manufacturers conforming to the Oeko-Tex Standard 1000 are granted the 'Eco Friendly' label.

Textiles receiving the 'Eco Friendly' label will be considered as not posing any environmental threat when disposed as household waste.

AccuStandard chemical reference materials include standards for use in testing to meet analytical requirements for Eco Labeling.

Already in its line of standards are such chemicals found on the textiles as - among others - pesticides, dyes, flame retardants and allergens.
