AP Technologies announces its appointment as the distributor for El-Mul Technologies of Israel, a leading supplier of OEM particle detection solutions for the worldwide semiconductor manufacturing tools, industrial scanning electron microscope and time-of-flight mass spectrometry markets.

El-Mul is well-known for its proprietary micro-sphere plate electron multiplier technology and is also well-established as a supplier of value-added micro channel plate solutions including single, chevron and Z-format MCPs with anode and fast anode, flange, phosphor screens and grids.

A range of extremely homogeneous and stable phosphor screens are manufactured using unique brushing technology previously used only in image intensifiers and night vision equipment.

In addition to offering standard phosphors and Yap El-Mul has developed a proprietary inorganic scintillator with a sub-nanosecond decay time and a life-time far superior to organic scintillators.

Another key technology is the ability to laser cut holes in MCPs and screens with peripheral damage limited to only a few channels.
