Up to eight of these low cost temperature and humidity sensors can be connected to a USB data acquisition unit

Available from Audon Electronics is a range of low cost temperature and humidity sensors for the LabJack USB data acquisition unit The LabJack U12 USB data acquisition and control unit features eight single ended or ffour differential analogue inputs, two analogue outputs and 20 digital I/O

This new range of temperature and humidity sensors can be connected directly to the LabJack's analogue inputs, being powered from the LabJack's 5V supply.

Up to eight sensors may be connected to a single LabJack.

The TP-100 is a 0-100C plastic probe while the TP-200 is a 5mm diameter, 150mm long stainless steel probe with a temperature range of -50C to 150C.

Both come with 1.5m cable.

Other lengths can be supplied to special order.

The TH-100 is a combined temperature and humidity sensor housed in a 70mm x 70mm x 25mm ventilated plastic enclosure that may be desk or wall mounted.

Temperature range is 0-100C and the unit can measure humidity over the entire 0-100%RH range.

The LabJack has a +/-10V input range at 12-bit resolution.

Differential channels can make use of the low noise precision amplifier with gains of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 20.

Data can be streamed to disk at 1kHz and a bursts mode allows over 4000 samples to de taken at a 8kHz rate.

The two 0-10V analogue output channels can be updated at a 50Hz rate with 10-bit resolution.

All analogue I/O are accessed via screw terminals.

The LabJack has 20 digital I/O channels which can be individually configured as input or output.

Four digital I/O's are accessed via screw terminals while the remaining 16 are accessed through a 25-way D connector.

The use of the PC's USB port allows for a simple plug-and-play installation process and by using USB hubs, up to 80 LabJacks may be connected to a single USB port.

Included with the LabJack are the free example applications LJlogger and LJscope.

LJlogger provides datalogger type functionality.

It reads all inputs, controls all outputs, writes real time data to the internet or hard disk, and sends email when events are triggered.

Scaling can be applied to the analogue input channels to produce readings in engineering units.

LJscope is a virtual oscilloscope program with FFT display.

Extensive software support is included, and the LabJack comes with a DLL, and ActiveX component and LabView VI's.

Many example program's in Visual Basic, C, Delphi, LabView, Testpoint, DaqFactory are available.
