Software manages training records

An Autoscribe product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Dec 10, 2001

A software package for training record management, Training Records Manager, has been recently announced by Autoscribe

Training Records Manager is available as a stand-alone software package or as an option that may be used to increase the operational versatility of an existing Lims.

Completely scalable from a single user to a network system, Training Records Manager can be upgraded without redundancy.

Driven by the need for regulatory compliance and maintaining the quality of operating standards, the new software package will be of particular interest to managers in training, human resource and laboratory areas in particular, says Autoscribe.

Training Records Manager offers the ability to create a complete historic audit trail relating to the attendance of staff on required trainingcourses.

Individual staff may be assigned to courses and details of their training record including attendance date, expiry date, training quality and any examination grading recorded.

Training Records Manager provides a single tabular archive for recording the details of courses from different providers.

Each course can have an associated expiry period that may be used to automatically reschedule refresher courses for attendance where necessary.

Changes in the content of courses can be monitored and new versions of the course identified.

A selection of useful standard reports eases the burden of training management.

These include templates to detail all courses attended by a selected user, all users trained for a selected course, all users requiring retraining between two dates and all users scheduled for courses between two dates.
