A new application note describes the use of a flexible system for tracking sample inventories an alternative to a full function Lims
The application note describes how the Autoscribe's Sample Tracker product accommodates sample registration either singly or in batches and ensures that a unique number is assigned to each new sample or batch Detail is given demonstrating how confirmation that samples have been placed into storage allows entry of details such as room and freezer numbers and, for example, if the samples are stored in boxes how each box can be allocated a unique number
