A totally new Lims for the 21st century
Matrix Gemini is described as the world's first highly scaleable, fully configurable commercial off-the-shelf (Cots) Lims designed for use in any laboratory in any industry
Matrix Gemini is a Lims that provides exactly the same user experience no matter how you access the application; rich client on Lan, thin client on Wan, or via the web using a standard browser The unique OneTime Configuration tools automatically create a unified Lims configuration for both desktop and web use

Once a screen has been built using the unique OneTime Configuration Tools, it is immediately available on a network or via the web.
Unlike most current commercial Lims, the web interface is not a 'bolt on' to an old application.
This new technology allows the deployment of exactly the same interface to all users, reducing deployment, training, validation and maintenance costs.
Autoscribe's Matrix Gemini Lims also provides all existing customers with the opportunity to seamlessly migrate their current desktop applications to the web without the requirement to use programming, java or esoteric scripting languages.
Uniquely, when existing Matrix V4 users upgrade to Matrix Gemini, supplied under their support agreement, they will have immediate access to all their existing client screens via their web browsers, with no additional work or costs - potentially a saving of thousands of pounds.
This continues what Autoscribe says is its unique 16 year history of providing pioneering, industry standard Lims that can always be seamlessly upgraded to the latest release.
The 'attractive' concurrent user licensing scheme allows customers to mix and match network and web connections as they need them, changing from day to day as required - again no extra fees to pay.
Unlike other systems that have 'bolt on' web pages, older legacy code and esoteric, proprietary scripting languages, Matrix Gemini is developed using pure Microsoft.net tools to deliver a Lims for the 21st century, says the company.
Matrix Gemini is a pure Microsoft.net product and not a mixture of other technologies, so it provides the benefits of close integration between the Windows operating system and web technology.
