Autoscribe and PET Centers develop Matrix Gemini

Matrix Gemini PET LIMS has been developed in collaboration with hospital-based PET Centers in Denmark to facilitate daily work and fulfil GMP and radiation safety compliance.

A touch-screen computer provides all the information for radiopharmaceutical production.

At each production stage, only tested and approved materials are available in the inventory to be used in the next step of production with the inventory automatically being decremented as materials are used.

This enables them to find the latest version of a document such as an SOP, checklist or inventory.

There is no need to check that a document is valid as only the latest approved version is displayed.

Expiry dates are held against each item with expired materials flagged and unavailable for use in synthesis.

Full traceability from a finished product backwards allows a user to view results and certificates of analysis for all the raw materials used in production.

All actions are time/date/user stamped for a full audit trail.

Autoscribe's Matrix Gemini LIMS conforms to regulatory requirements such as FDA 21 CFR11, current cGMP and European / national regulations.

System and user actions are stored in the system's event log.

Double sign-offs have been implemented to prevent scientists from validating their own results.

Matrix Rutherford is designed for the nuclear industry and related test laboratories.

The Matrix Rutherford LIMS configuration features workflows for environmental district surveys, liquid discharge, gaseous discharge and chemistry.

The system can also be configured for radioactive waste management applications.

Matrix Rutherford is built on Autoscribe's Matrix Gemini platform and has been designed in co-operation with companies in the nuclear industry.

Matrix Rutherford is strong on traceability, location tracking and the collation of reports for regulatory authorities, which saves significant operator time when preparing these reports.

Automated summary reporting also virtually eliminates operator reporting errors.

The system can also be connected to multiple instrument types used within the nuclear industry.
