Biacore to host Dipia 2007 conference in
Phoenix
Biacore, now part of GE Healthcare, announces that Phoenix, Arizona, USA will be the venue for the second Developments in Protein Interaction Analysis (Dipia) conference on 6-9 May 2007
The event is organised by Biacore and follows the highly successful Dipia conference which took place in Philadelphia, USA in August 2005, attended by 300 delegates Dipia 2007 offers participants an exciting opportunity for exchange and discussion of all the latest developments in protein interaction analysis

Measuring the interaction of biologically active molecules plays a key role in modern biology, from research through drug discovery to development and production.
Dipia 2007 will comprise a series of workshops and presentations, including education and scientific sessions, as well as roundtable discussions and poster sessions.
There will also be an award for excellence and two young investigator poster awards.
The key topics to be covered at the scientific sessions are: infectious disease and immune recognition; antibody and protein therapeutics development; small molecule drug discovery; functional protein networks and pathways; beyond protein-protein interactions; and novel approaches to protein interaction analysis.
Keynote speakers are from research and the pharmaceutical industry, including: Professor Philip Andrews, department of biological chemistry at the University of Michigan Medical School, who will give a presentation on 'Determining the molecular architecture of the zymogen secretory vesicle'.
Dipia 2007 will be held at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort in Phoenix.
