Remove the uncertainty in selecting
affinity media
Antibody Toolbox offers researchers a range of products that will simplify and streamline purification protocols, eliminating many drawbacks of the current gold-standards for antibody purification
CaptureSelect products are available for purchase through the company's website, and consists of the following products: CaptureSelect Fab kappa affinity matrix: for all human antibodies containing kappa light chains

Building on the success of the CaptureSelect ligands in large scale industrial processing, BAC developed the Antibody Toolbox to give laboratory researchers access to the advantages that the ligands offer.
"We saw a need for a new product for antibody purification in the lab.
"Currently, researchers using proteins A, G or L face a number of obstacles in the design and optimisation of a protocol for their specific antibody.
"The Antibody Toolbox takes away the uncertainty involved in selecting the appropriate affinity media for the job, and minimises method testing and optimisation," said Mark ten Haaft, director of ligand application at BAC.
Laurens Sierkstra, CEO of BAC commented: "This is an exciting business move for us.
"Until now we have offered our ligands for large scale industrial use only, and the Antibody Toolbox is our first off-the-shelf product range that will be sold direct to the lab researcher.
"I am very pleased that we are able to make our technology more widely accessible in this way".
CaptureSelect products are available for a wide variety of purification needs, from monoclonal antibody and virus purification to plasma protein depletion.
The Antibody Toolbox products can solve virtually any purification challenge for a range of antibody formats including Fc fusion proteins, antibody fragments, and all antibody classes.
The products in the Antibody Toolbox are produced using BAC's proprietary affinity ligand technology, based on the unique single chain antibodies found in camelids, and manufactured using a completely animal component-free S cerevisiae system.
