Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Oct 6, 2006

Biode has delivered its first AVM series solid state viscometer system to Penmor Lithographer of Lewiston, Maine, and has garnered additional purchase orders from Rohm and Haas and Georgia Pacific

Biode was able to demonstrate the efficacy of the AVM series viscometer by conducting extensive tests via on-site and in-house lab tests with actual product samples to the test protocols established by the customers.

The AVM solid state viscometer demonstrated it ability to return a rapid ROI and offer performance advantages that are a first in the industry.

The systems were delivered in October 2003 with full technical support and documentation and free software and hardware upgrades.

The customers have also agreed to author technical articles demonstrating the efficacy of the AVM solid state viscometer system to peer companies and colleagues.

The AVM series solid-state viscometer sensor has no moving parts, provides data instantaneously and is the size of a silver dollar.

It is factory calibrated and designed for challenging manufacturing environments to provide temperature and viscosity of fluids ranging from oil and lubricants to inks and coatings and wide variety of chemicals processing and process control needs.
