It was announced in August 2003 that Biode had delivered four new AVM series solid-state viscometer systems to customers in New England and the US midwest

The AVM series solid-state is designed to provide instantaneous sample and/or continuous, real-time, in-process viscosity measurements for process control in a robust cost-effective package weighing just 4oz The four customers are representative of the key markets Biode aims to enter and provide lead-edge solutions for process control and quality verification

These markets are the chemical blending, printing ink and press, and food industry.

The systems were delivered with full technical support and documentation and free software and hardware upgrades.

The customers have also agreed to author technical articles for magazines demonstrating the efficacy of the AVM series solid-state system to peer companies and colleagues.

The AVM series solid-state is factory calibrated and designed for challenging manufacturing environments to provide temperature and viscosity of fluids ranging from oil and lubricants to inks and coatings and wide variety of chemicals processing and process control needs.
